Transgressing and denying,
opposing and cursing;
All are evil and none does good.

Truth is lacking, justice is turned back;
we walk in darkness, and drown in sin.
What is our hope? Who will save us?

A hope for light, and light is here;
light in Him, the Son of Man
of Grace and Truth. His love for us,
broke the curse, of sin and death;
by rising up, on the third day,
from His death, that we caused Him.
