I rode a rented bicycle today. It was fun.
The sunset was beautiful and the wind sweeping against my face was therapeutic.
Although the journey was rough, as my bicycle skills are a little rusty having not ridden one for about 4 to 5 years straight until last year, it was worth the while. I soaked in nature while the sun was still up and beheld the skies as the sun set.
My phone’s screen broke, having fell out of my hoodie front pocket along with my purse, multiple times. And it seems my knee pain heightened, but yet again, it was worth it.
Worth it, as this may be the last time in a long time that I will ride another bicycle, go for a short jog, or do fast walks for hours at a time. The very exercises that I enjoy doing.
I am still researching what exactly works permanently to fix Chondromalacia Patella but I have a few ideas here and there and I will try to put those to work. But that aside, I wanted to share with you all my bicycle ride which may possibly be the last I will engage in this year.
I may be hypocritical for writing this, after spending my money badly this evening buying McDonalds when I had food at home, but I need to be a good steward of what God has given me: my body. And if it means staying off of a few things I enjoy in the mean time, then so be it. So help me God.
