Today was beautiful!
My friend and I started going through the book of John, with an unbelieving friend, and I can tell you that the response was beautiful.
The fact that this girl, before this discussion was so confused about who Jesus was in relation to God and why He needed to come, left this discussion with one big thought that, ‘God is so compassionate,’ is beyond me.
She sincerely showed that she had learnt something new and displayed through a brilliant illustration, how sad it was that His own, did not know Him who created them. Them being us. But being compassionate, He did not just leave us on our way to damnation, He decided to save us. He decided to make us know Him. He decided to reveal Himself to us. He decided to show us Him, the Light, making us see His glory, recognizing Him for who he truly is, and now we know Him. And so He has given us the right to become His children, not of our will, but of His.
This compassion and grace bestowed upon us, I cannot understand fully till we meet in Heaven, but I know that He is full of these things and I understand partially what He has done, through the gospel, sufficient enough to make me believe that I was a wretched soul headed for damnation but was saved through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This is the greatest news to me; not that there may be a cure for coronavirus, not that I am free of the virus and not that my friend and families are free from it as well, but that there is hope for our naturally damned souls in Jesus, and I hope it is to you too.

It was beautiful reading this post. What a great joy to know that your dear friend opened up to know about the Lord. More grace, wisdom and knowledge as the Lord use you. I love the book of John. There’s so much to learn from the word of God. The more we seek Him, the more we know Him 🙏🏿. Thank you for sharing Hephzibah 😊
