This night was ride for my friend and I. A literal one.
We ran like we hadn’t in a long while
We chased that bus like our life depended on it
We even forgot how much we wanted to pee prior to this chase.
The adrenaline-driven quest to reach our destination made us neglect our wants; making us do what we needed, i.e. looking forward, eyes pressed on the reward, not letting hindrances be hindrances, all to get to that place
And we can liken this to keeping the faith and running the race with endurance. But this time, our life literally depends on it. It depends on God sustaining us to the end of that race. No matter what may come our way, we press on, looking forward to that day when our Savior returns.

Hephzibah, I can relate to this post. I remember the times, I would run to catch the bus. No joke oo. These days, I walk at ease. We must continue to fix our eyes on the Lord and press forward 🙏🏿. Onward, we go.
