My head really hurt today
And it still hurts, if I might say
These past few days have been weird
But today though, I did what I feared
.
I spoke in front of a crowd
A little one, so not too loud
But I’ll tell you one that was
All aloud in my voice: my flaws
.
But beyond that, God gave me strength
I spoke of my beliefs in some depth
All, through the poems on this blog
So I didn’t feel like a log
.
Beyond the headache, beyond the doubt
I knew my Savior in heart and mouth
He gave me strength, amidst the pain
So in Him, I know I’m never insane.
