A Night with the Girls

After church on Friday, a group of friends and I from my church as well as another church, went over to the nearest mall to have dinner and we had loads of conversations over fast food dinner. I was so into it because the person leading one of the major conversations that I was involved in was talking about links between the old testament and the new testamnet and how the various figures in the bible were a shadow of Jesus! It was a beautiful onversation I tell ya!

But afterwards, a group of girls and I headed to our dear friend’s house to sleepover, as previously planned! It was FUN! We sang our voices out, danced as we could, and watched movies as long as our eyes could take us. It was a blissful time.

The following morning, we had breakfast followed by a time spent in God’s Word in Ephesians talking about predestination.

How beautful it was again to refresh my mind on the fact that I am a Christian only by the grace of God and that I chose Him because He first chose me!

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

Ephesians 1:4‭-‬5 ESV

After finally playing some games together and having a few conversations, we headed out and back to our homes.

What a wonderful thing it is to have family in Christ!
